Joyce has 20 years of experience in the arts across Asia and Europe, with 10 years of leadership roles in learning disability theatre and directing. Joyce is known for her ambition and originality. She specialises in strategic planning, designing and leading complex projects, facilitation, and qualitative research. Joyce delivers across scales and art forms ranging from intimate community projects to international collaborations. Her interdisciplinary approach has driven partnerships across sectors including immersive arts and creative industry, health and social care, evaluation and higher education. Since her artistic leadership from 2015, the company Mind the Gap achieved and sustained a 300% growth in turnover. Joyce is a Clore Fellow, a prestigious fellowship for cultural leaders. She champions diversity, belonging and ethical use of new technology in her governance work.
